An internal tool that generates a résumé and cover letter for a selected job, then uses LLM-based evaluation to score relevance and consistency.
The problem
After a candidate chooses a job to apply to, they still need a résumé and cover letter tailored to it. Doing that by hand for every application is slow, and it is easy to lose relevance or overstate experience.
What I did
- Captured the candidate's existing skills and selected the ones most relevant to the chosen role.
- Generated a role-focused résumé and cover letter from that information.
- Used an LLM-based evaluator to calculate relevance and consistency scores for each generated result.
- Added a side-by-side review so trainees can inspect every change before using the documents.
Results
- Used by 10 Academy trainees when preparing job applications.
- Shows trainees a relevance score and a transparent view of the generated changes.
